I have been in multiple business partnerships and they haven’t all ended well.
But they have taught me a lot about myself, my values, and about resiliency.
I worked my ass off running my yoga studio. Both the front and the back end. Working day and night. No one but me was responsible for this.
I am and always have been an extremely hard worker. It’s just a part of my DNA I truly believe.
Here’s the thing, it’s also relative.
It’s my perspective. I had a belief that I worked harder and more than everyone else.
So Of course I was constantly frustrated and exhausted.
Which only led me to get burned out and resentful.
Here’s the truth. It was only my perspective.
In an instant I was done. Done with it all.
I was pissed at myself, I was angry, sad, and shit ton of other emotions.
I fell into a depression after the sale.
Pretended as if everything was “fine”.
But in truth I was a mess. I felt like I had lost my entire identity.
So I started to create a new one. Diving into all sorts of courses and certifications trying to figure out my next chapter.
As I look back now, I understand how my thoughts created my reality, and it’s always this way.
I don’t have any regrets. I have learned so much from leaving this part of my life and how it led me to where I am today.
Here’s my takeaways:
- Don’t believe everything you think. Yes some of what you are thinking serves you and some of it doesn’t.
- Show up and be vulnerable, but also take full responsibility.
- All the courses in the world won’t make you ready. Just start!
- Success happens when you are willing to do all the things that make your heart race and your palms sweat.
👉🏻Be onto yourself.
👉🏻Make sure to learn how to manage your own brain.
Your vulnerability allows you to be human.
People want to hear what you have to say.
Don’t hide just because you have made mistakes.
Your mistakes make you human and they don’t just help you grow, but everyone around you.
You have a message. Share it.
You have wisdom and knowledge from your experiences, don’t discredit them.
Yes, invest in yourself. Learn from those around you, those who have already done what you want to do. Get started now!
You’re going to learn so much along the way.
Do all the shit that scares you.
Do something everyday.
Big or small.
You’re going to f up. It’s part of growing a biz.
Stop waiting for everything to be perfect.
There’s no such thing!
